Once Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson were at church together in Hamburg they knew there was no going to the other side. Ashley Hudson was just 17 and hadn't been with a woman prior to that, so they decided to take their time. But it was truly the first time they met. Andrew requested God, on New Year's Eve, just prior to the year's end, to grant him another blessing in the year 2016. He wanted Ashley to say yes. Ashley decided to plan an event with a traditional wooden theme that would truly represent her as well as Andrew. In order to create the perfect wedding, they decided to take a little inspiration from the things they adore. The wedding venue was the 40 acres back of the land Ashley has grown up on. Ashley explored the area and had fun on everything, starting from the route they took to the field where they made vows. In addition, Andrew and Ashley had walked the area many times when they began their relationship. Since the wedding was almost entirely homemade, personalization played an integral role. Andrew, Ashley's dad and Ashley themselves designed all the d cor. Ashley also painted and designed a number of decorations. Ashley declares, "Our wedding would not have been the dreamy experience I had always envisioned were Anna's gorgeous flowers hadn't been created." truly breathtaking.
